Pro-Tek Services of Central Florida, Inc. was founded by Tim and Darla Lightner in 1989. Tim’s first job out of high school was with a pest control company and he has been in the industry ever since. After working for other companies as a technician, sales rep and manager for 13 years, Tim and Darla decided to branch out on their own in order to create a better future for themselves and their 2 daughters.

Throughout those 13 years, Tim and Darla learned a lot about the pest control and termite industry. They took notice of the growing need for soil pre-treatments with the constant new construction going on in Florida. They both recognized the need for this service and wanted to be a part of that growth.

Now, more than 3 decades later, Pro-Tek Services of Central Florida, Inc. has grown with Florida and is one of Florida’s leaders in the pre-construction termite spraying industry. Tim and Darla are proud to have built a business of integrity, one that takes care of their employees and their customers like they were family, no matter how large they get. Tim remains very involved in the business, while also recently adding his daughter and son-in -law to the team.
